Who are we?

Black Cat Intimate Imagery began very innocently – friends asking for pictures that portrayed the love they had for each other. Over time, through word of mouth, this evolved to singles as well. Our clients wanted a relaxed, sensual experience with amazing photographs.

Jeff’s love of photography and his instinctive skill at capturing the precise moment when the subject exudes both radiance and sensuality has made him a sought after photographer. This coupled with Rhain’s digital photography background and set design makes them an unbeatable team.

Their goal is to provide a unique intimate photography experience. Expect to be treated as a beautiful piece of artwork that will be treasured long after the flash.

I read an advertisement the other day that was advertising “A Marathon Boudoir Photography Session” and kind of got to thinking.  The one thing that Black Cat Intimate Images promotes is a personal touch to the quality of your photo shoot.  The model is our focus, not the clock.

I made an inquiry about the advertisement and was told that each session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes and allows for 1 clothing change.  Alright guys, have you ever known a lady to be ready to photograph to be able to get ready in 30 minutes?  Thirty minutes, that is what we spend in chatting with the client trying to get what THEY want out of the shoot.  Thirty minutes shooting time…that is less than 50 pictures to take your best from.

I don’t know, maybe I am somewhat jaded but we believe that, as photographers, we work at YOUR pace, letting you feel comfortable…not rushed because there is someone else waiting outside the door to come in.  Every couple or individual that we have worked with is made to feel welcome.  That is why our studio is in our home, not a cold impersonal hotel room.  That is why we like to enjoy a glass of wine or beverage with the clients prior to shooting.  I do hold the advertiser in high regard though, they are a high quality studio.  It is just our belief that something as personal and as intimate as photographs for a couple or your lover should be as unrushed and relaxed as you are with yourself.
